Advocate Rehan Nabi, the uncle of the children, has been asked to complete the calculation of assets within two weeks. Besides, uncle Rehan Nabi will have to pay one lakh taka for the maintenance of the two children for this period.
Justice Abu Taher on Sunday passed the order at the High Court bench of Justice Md. Saifur Rahman and Justice Zakir Hossain.
Earlier, the High Court had ordered to keep two policemen in their custody after the court restored the rights of the two children at midnight on October 4. At the same time, the two children and their uncle Rehan Nabi were asked to come to court on October 11.
At midnight on October 3, the High Court directed that the two grandchildren of former Attorney General KS Nabi be taken to their ancestral home to ensure their safety. At midnight on a private TV talk show related to the incident, Justice Abu Taher and Saifur Rahman made the verdict voluntarily.
