The emergency notice states that all Muslims other than Khatib, Imam, Muazzin and Khadmera are being directed to pray in their respective homes instead of attending prayers at the Jama'ah Jamaat in their respective homes.

Only five people including imam, muazzin, khatib and khadim will be allowed to offer their daily prayers at mosques to maintain jamaat, the notice said.

While only 10 people including imam, muazzin, khatib and khadim will be allowed to offer Juma namaz on Friday.

At the same time, the Ministry of Religion instructed followers of other religions to worship in their respective homes. It also said that followers of other religions would not be able to assemble for any religious or social rituals at this time.

The directive was issued considering all principles of all religions and for the sake of the national security.
