Govt urges not to heed to rumors ‘If fever, police will take up’

The government has called not to pay heed to rumors that the police will take up if someone has fever. The call was made in a government statement on Wednesday.

According to the statement, various misconceptions and rumors are being targeted among people in different regions of the country to prevent coronavirus infection. These misconceptions include rumors that you can get rid of coronavirus by drinking hot water with ginger or garlic, poor people will not be infected with the diseases, but to unbelievers to the Creator. Besides, if it is cold or fever, the police will take up.

In the details of the information, everyone has been requested to abstain from these misconceptions and to obey any hygiene and to stay in the house.

The government has stopped all vehicles except emergency services during the general holiday announced by the government from March 26 to prevent coronavirus. The holiday has been extended till April 11.

In addition, the educational institutes have been announced closed from March 18 to April 11. Experts say the virus can be avoided by avoiding public meetings and adheres to hygiene and etiquette.
