Govt to implement `no mask no service` lifting lockdown

An all-out lockdown is underway across the country to control coronavirus infections. However, keeping in view the livelihood of the people, the government is moving towards the 'no mask no service' formula by lifting the lockdown.
Sources said that the government is thinking to implement 'no mask, no service' policy following the decision to reopen shops and shopping malls from next Sunday.
Meanwhile, the state minister for public administration said the restrictions would be relaxed after April 28. But 'no mask no service' will be implemented hundred percent. When coming out of the house, people must wear masks as well as maintain physical distance. Strict adherence to health guidelines will enable us to make a living. We hope the infection will be reduced a lot in a coming days.
He added that the government is considering to resume public transport services. Even if public transport is introduced, 100% hygiene rules must be followed.
The state minister said a notification will be issued on April 28 with guidelines on living. There will be mention of manpower in the office.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Railways has hinted that the train will start operation after April 28 in accordance with the health rules before Eid.
Earlier, the government announced a lockdown from April 4 to April 11 to curb coronavirus infection. An eight-day strict lockdown was announced on April 14 to April 21 with 13 instructions. Later, it was extended till midnight on April 28 as the corona infection situation did not improve.
