Law Minister Anisul Huq has said action will be taken against those who created chaos in the Appellate Division during the hearing on a bail petition of BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia on Thursday.

He came up with the remark while talking to reporters at his Gulshan residence on Thursday afternoon.

He categorically said the government will not allow anyone to disrespect any institution of Bangladesh. “It’s the government’s duty to maintain the law and order and resist any chaotic situation. The government will be forced to take legal action against those behave like this.”

The minister said pro-BNP lawyers and BNP activists tried to create anarchy and chaos at the courtroom whenever any court order or verdict went against them. “It clearly manifests that BNP has no respect for the rule of law.”
