Gold price to hike again followed by global market

The gold price in global market is on the rise this year due to coronavirus outbreak. The gold price has hiked again by 4 percent amid US election. Now the price of per ounce gold is set at $1951.70.
Following the context, the price of gold is also hiking in the country's market. This decision will be made in a day or two. Dilip Kumar Agarwala, general secretary of the Bangladesh Jewelers Society (BAJUS), said the price of gold could be increased by Tk 2,500 per bhari.
The Bajus editor said there was a kind of tension and uncertainty about the US election. The dollar price has fallen. Due to this there has been a sudden rise in the price of gold. This is the main reason for gold price hike in the world market in the current situation.
Meanwhile, at the beginning of last week, the price of gold was $1878 per ounce in the world market. At the end of the week, the price of gold per ounce increased to $1951.70. The price of gold per ounce has risen by $73 or 3.93 percent in a week.
Through this, the price of gold has risen to the highest level in the world market in two months. Gold prices rose nearly 4 percent in the first week since July.
The price of gold was also increased in the country's market from October 15 due to the increase in the price in the world market. In this phase, the price of gold of good quality, 22 carats per gram (11.664 grams) has been increased by Tk 2,333 to Tk 76,341. The price of 21 carat gold was fixed at Tk 73,192 and 18 carat gold at Tk 64,444.
