Gold price down Tk 1516 per bhori

Bangladesh Jewellers Samity (BAJUS) has reduced the price of gold in the domestic market as the price in the international market is slightly lower. The price of 22, 21 and 18-carat gold in the country’s market has been reduced by Tk 1,516 since Friday.
The information was given in a circular signed by BAJUS president Enamul Haque Khan and general secretary Dilip Kumar Agarwala on Thursday.
According to the new price, the best quality or 22-carat gold will be priced at Tk 71,967 per bhori from Friday. This was Tk 73,483 per bhori till Thursday. Besides, 21-carat gold will be priced at Tk 68,818 per bhori – which was Tk 70,334 per bhori on Thursday.
The price of 18-carat will be Tk 60,070 per bhori – which was Tk 61,586 per bhori till Thursday.
Besides, the price of traditional method gold has been reduced to Tk 49,747 per bhori – it was sold at Tk 51,263 per bhori till Thursday.
