Globe’s vaccine allowed for human trial

Bangladesh’s Globe Biotech Limited has received policy approval for the human trial of coronavirus vaccine on condition.
The Bangladesh Medical Research Council (BMRC) gave permission on Wednesday.
Dr. Asif Mahmud, Head of Research and Development of Globe Biotech Ltd. confirmed the matter to Daily Bangladesh.
A total of 201 vaccines have been invented globally to tackle coronavirus. Eight of these vaccines received final approval. Eight more have been approved for emergency use on a limited scale in different countries. A large-scale trial of 31 vaccines is underway. The trial of 36 is in the second phase. The trial of 50 vaccines is underway in the first phase.
Globe Biotech Limited, a subsidiary of the pharmaceutical company Globe Pharmaceuticals Group of Companies, claims to have invented a new coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccine on July 2 last year. For the first time in Bangladesh, a pharmaceutical company claimed to have invented this vaccine. The company started producing this vaccine on March 8.
