The Israeli army has carried out series of multiple attacks in Gaza for three days in a row. They also carried out hundreds of airstrikes on Tuesday, killing 35 people so far. More than 700 were injured in the attacks.

Meanwhile, the pro-independence group Hamas has launched a series of rocket attacks in Tel Aviv, Israel’s second-largest city. The sound of an explosion was heard there. The siren sounded in the city.

Qatar-based Al Jazeera reported that Ben-Gurion Airport, Israel’s main international airport, had been closed following the rocket attack. The airport is located next to Tel Aviv.

The Associated Press (AP) reports that two women were killed in hundreds of rocket attacks by Hamas in the southern Israeli city of Ashkelon. Besides, 10 more people were injured.

Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’s armed wing, said in a statement that Israeli airstrikes in Gaza had destroyed a 12-story building. They fired 130 rockets at Tel Aviv to avenge the attack.

Israeli forces also bombed the besieged Gaza Strip on Tuesday after a rocket attack by Hamas. Israeli occupation forces have carried out airstrikes in the Gaza Strip since Monday. That attack still continues.
