France facing spike of coronavirus case

The second wave of coronavirus has begun in different countries in Europe. Many countries including France have imposed strict restrictions. But the number of infection cases in France is still on rise.
According to the latest (Oct 25) report, 52,010 new cases have been reported in France within last 24 hours. Besides, 116 have died at the same period. The country is now standing in the fifth position for infection cases according to Worldometer.
The country has now 23.96pc death rate in the pandemic. So far a total of 11,38,507 has contracted COVID-19 in France, of them 34,761 died.
French government again imposed a night curfew across the country, including the capital Paris, to prevent the spread of the disease. The average daily death in France has been rising for ten days in a row.
French President Emmanuel Macron has warned that the corona outbreak will continue until next summer. The people of the country will have to fight Corona at least until the middle of next year, he said.
