Four motorbike riders killed in Narsingdi road crash

Four bike riders were killed as a bus knocked down their motorcycle on the Dhaka-Sylhet highway at Morjal area of Raipura Upazila in Narsingdi at around 7:30 am on Friday. 

The deceased were identified as Ramjan Mia, 17, son of Asad Choukidar, Dalim Mia, 14, son of Hafizuddin, Shohagh Mia, 18, son of Sharif Mia of Morjal in Raipura Upazila, and the bike driver Yamin, 25, of Putia in Shibpur Upazila.

Delwar Hossain, OC of Raipura Police Station, confirmed the information. He said a Dhaka-bound bus from Bhairab smashed the bike carrying four people, leaving all the riders killed on the spot.

After getting the information of accident, police recovered the bodies and sent those to local hospital morgue. 

Police initially thought that reckless driving is the main reason for the accident.
