Four Bangladesh players placed in IPL auction final list

A total of four Tiger cricketers have been placed in the final list for the auction of the 14th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) as IPL authorities released the list on Thursday.
They are Shakib Al Hasan, Mustafizur Rahman, Mohammad Saifuddin and Mahmudullah Riyad.
However, five Bangladeshi cricketers, four have been placed in the final list out of these five, have registered for the 2021 Indian Premier League (IPL) auction out of 1096 cricketers and 292 cricketers will put up for the final auction. Among them there are 164 local and 128 foreign cricketers.
The auction of the 14th edition will be held on February 18 in Chennai.
Out of the four Bangladesh players, only Shakib and Mustafiz have the experience of playing IPL.
Bangladesh ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan was listed at the highest base price of INR 2 crore (approx. US $274,000) for the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Three cricketers from ICC affiliates have been placed in the final list. They are US fast bowler Ali Khan, Nepal's star spinner Sandeep Lamichhane and UAE-born Indian cricketer Palaniapan Kartik Mayapan.
