Bangladesh left-arm seamer Mustafizur Rahman has been signed by Rajasthan Royals (RR) at his base price INR 1 crore ahead of the 14th edition of IPL. 

Only RR has shown interest in roping the cutter master and they got him at his base price of INR 1 crore. This is the third team for Mustafizur in IPL. 

Earlier, Mustafizur Rahman played for Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians. He last played for MI.

On the other hand, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) brought Bangladesh ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan for INR 3.2 crores. So the southpaw back to his former Indian Premier League (IPL) team, where he played for six consecutive seasons. Then he played two seasons for Sunrisers Hyderabad.  

To rope Shakib KKR now made the opening bid. Then Punjab Kings also bid for Shakib for 2.2 crores. KKR push the bid to 2.4 crores. Kumble and Zinta have an intense discussion at their table and raise it to 2.6 crores. KKR raises the paddle again, as do Punjab Kings. Punjab needs a finger spinner, but they let go of Shakib and KKR rope the tiger all-rounder for INR 3.2 crore.

Shakib, who last featured in the IPL in 2018 when Sunrisers Hyderabad bought him for INR 2 crore. 

Shakib was in the 2nd set of the auction along with players like David Malan, Glenn Maxwell, Chris Morris, Shivam Dubey, and Kedar Yadav.
