First ever virtual ECNEC meeting today

The meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (Ecnec) is going to be held online or virtually for the first time in the history of the country due to the situation caused by coronavirus.
The meeting will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday at the NEC conference room in the capital's Sher-e-Bangla Nagar while the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will join with the meeting through video conferencing from Ganobhaban.
Shahedur Rahman, senior information officer of the Planning Commission, said with confirming the matter that the virtual ECNEC meeting is the first ever in the history of the country and the first meeting after the general holiday due to coronavirus.
He also said that about 10 projects are to be proposed in the meeting.
