First Hajj flight from Chattogram Sunday

The Hajj flights from country’s commercial capital, Chattogram begins on Sunday. Bangladesh Biman's Special Flight BG-3208 will leave Chattogram Shah Amanat Airport for Jeddah in Saudi Arabia.
Chattogram Shah Amanat Airport Station Manager Sarwar-E-Jahan said, “All the preparations to ensure the simplified and harassment-free hajj flight have been completed. All the departments concerned have been given instructions for this purpose.”
The special police superintendent of the Chattogram airport, Kamrul Islam, said, “The matter has been assured so that, hajj pilgrims could not face any sufferings to complete all the immigration activities.” Hopefully there will be no problem of hajj pilgrims, he added.
According to the airport sources, more than 10,000 pilgrims from Chattogram will go to Saudi Arabia to celebrate the pilgrimage. Along with 19 special flights, regular flights will also carry pilgrims. 12 of the special flights will go to Jeddah. The remaining seven flights will go to Medina Airport.
