Fire broke out in Mumbai, 15 dead

A massive fire broke out at a building in Kamala Mills Compound in the Lower Parel area of Mumbai on Thursday late night.

At least 15 people were burnt to death in a restaurant in Kamala Mills Compound building.

Among the dead, 12 are women. They are between 20 and 30 years old.

According to Indian media sources, the fire started from the third floor of the building Thursday night. Later the fire spread quickly to restaurants and other floors around the building. At that time, the whole building was covered with smoke in the fire. The building has several multinational companies’ offices, several media offices, and restaurants.

According to the police, NDTV`s report said that most of the victims were on the rooftop of a restaurant to celebrate a birthday party. Suddenly, the fire broke out in the restaurant and 15 people were burnt to death. 

Firefighters quickly rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control for a few hours.

Later emergency ambulance and police were rushed to the spot and rescued the injured and sent them to the hospital.
