Fire breaks out at Rainbow Market in Dinajpur

A fire broke out on Saturday morning at Rainbow Market in Dinajpur. In addition to the three shops burned, five shops were partially damaged in this. On receiving the news, five fire service units put out the fire in an hour-long effort.

Rainbow Market furniture businessman Masud Rana said the fire went spread in a short time around the market and nearby shops due to having petrol and Mobil in the motorcycle workshop of Kurban Ali. On receiving the news, five units of Dinajpur Sadar, Birgunj and Kaharol Fire Service and Civil Defense rushed to the place and brought the fire under control after an hour's effort. However, the three shops were completely burned. Besides, five shops were partially burnt.

Dinajpur Fire Service and Civil Defense Special Officer Shahidul Islam said fire service personnel went to the scene immediately after receiving the news. After an hour's effort, they put the fire under control. However, the staff suffered due to the lack of sufficient water in the vicinity. The cause of the fire was not yet known. The cause and damage of the fire can be determined by the investigation.
