Fire breaks out at Ghorashal Fertilizer Factory
A fire broke out at Ghorashal Fertilizer Factory in Narsingdi. Five units of fire service personnel are working to douse the fire.
The fire broke out at the country's largest fertilizer factory around 1 pm on Friday, Narsingdi Fire Service and Civil Defense Duty Officer Mozammel Hossain confirmed this.
He said that after receiving the news of the fire at around 1 pm, two units of Ghorashal Upazila Fire Service first started working to douse the fire. Later, three units of Narsingdi Fire Service joined them.
"Initially, we learned that the fire started while working on the gas line. Later the fire spread to the whole factory," Mozammel Hossain said.
