Fire at Mugda Hospital doused

A fire that broke out at Mugda Medical College and Hospital in the capital has been extinguished.
The fire originated around 12:30 pm on Thursday. On information, seven units of the fire service rushed to the spot and doused the blaze after around half an hour of frantic effort.
Md Enayet Hossain, Deputy Assistant Director of Fire Service and Civil Defence, confirmed the matter.
He said that at least 10 persons were injured in the incident. They were rushed to Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery and Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
