Fire at DMCH’s emergency depatment

A fire broke out in the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH). Upon receiving the news, three units of the fire service are working to control the fire.
The fire broke out at around 2:15 pm on Thursday.
Confirming the matter to Daily Bangladesh, Kamrul Ahsan, duty officer of the fire service control room, said, “The fire broke out at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Emergency Department at 1:48 pm on Thursday.”
“The firefighters have started the work to douse the fire. Details will be informed later,” he added.
However, the fire service official could not immediately say the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage.
