Festive atmosphere in Ishwaripur upon arrival of Narendra Modi

India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Bangladesh on the occasion of the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the Golden Jubilee of Independence. He will reach Dhaka on March 26 and visit Jeshoreshwari Kali Temple in Ishwaripur on March 27 and take part in worship.
On the day, the Indian Prime Minister will visit Jeshoreshwari temple at 9:50 am and after staying there for 20 minutes there, he will leave for Gopalganj by helicopter at 10:10 am.
Jeshoreshwari Kali Temple in Shyamnagar Upazila is one of the 51 Shakti-Peeths of the Hindu community. Narendra Modi is visiting this temple in the coastal region of Satkhira to see a piece of 51 pieces of Shakti-Peeths.
There is a festive atmosphere in the Ishwaripur UP in Shyamnagar Upazila of Satkhira upon the news of the arrival of the Indian Prime Minister. The colorful decoration is underway in Jeshoreshwari Kali Temple and adjoining areas. Three-tiers of security measures has been taken.
On the occasion of the arrival of Narendra Modi, two helipads are being prepared at the Sobhan Secondary School ground in Ishwaripur and one in the vicinity. Besides, the renovation work of the temple is also underway in full swing.
The work of paving roads is underway in the traditional Ishwaripur market field adjacent to the temple. Renovation work is underway at various places in the area under the supervision of LGED. Besides, a high-power transmitter is being installed to keep the power supply uninterrupted in Jeshoreshwari Kali Temple, helipads and surrounding areas.
Separate security teams from India and Bangladesh have already visited the site more than once to mark the arrival of the Indian Prime Minister. Representatives of various organizations including district administration, district police, upazila administration, local representatives are regularly visiting the temples and helipads.
Shyamnagar UNO ANM Abuzar Ghifari said all preparations are being made as per the instructions of the district administration on the occasion of the arrival of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Shyamnagar. “We are constantly inspecting the preparations of Jeshoreshwari Kali Temple and the surrounding helipads,” he informed Daily Bangladesh.
Shyamnagar Police Station OC Nazmul Huda said necessary security measures have been tightened on the occasion of the arrival of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi as per the instructions of Satkhira Superintendent of Police.
Dilip Mukherjee, a priest of Jeshoreshwari Kali Temple, said Shyama Kali Puja is performed in this temple every year. Besides, worship is performed every Saturday and Tuesday. During this, hundreds of followers gathered at the temple.
