Fenugreek to relieve tonsillitis

Many people suffer from tonsillitis. This problem can happen to anyone, elder or children. Tonsillitis causes severe pain in the throat. At the same time, it is very difficult to swallow. As a result, this pain makes it difficult to eat. This pain is mainly due to infection in the tonsils. 

The tonsils are the things that look like round lumps on both sides of the throat wall behind the tongue. Infection with the viruses responsible for colds and coughs causes pain or problems in the tonsils. There are various medicines and syrups available in the market to solve this problem, but it is also possible to relieve tonsillitis at home. 

Let’s find out about the home remedies- 

Garlic

Garlic contains antibacterial and antiviral ingredients. It works to increase immunity. Garlic can be eaten raw. You can also eat garlic mixed with yogurt and honey.

Saltwater gargle

Saltwater helps to break the neck mucous. It also works to cure tonsillitis. Mix half to one teaspoon of salt in one glass of hot water to make the saltwater and gargle with it several times a day.

Mint or Tulsi

Tulsi contains anti-viral ingredients. Put a few Tulsi or mint leaves in a cup of water. Now boil the water. Add a little lemon juice to the water. You can mix a little honey in it for taste. Drink this three times a day.

Cinnamon, Honey

Honey and cinnamon mixed together have many benefits for the body. In case of cold or sore throat, mix one tablespoon of honey and 1/4 tablespoon of cinnamon powder. Eat the mixture for three consecutive days.

Fenugreek

Fenugreek is quite beneficial in preventing tonsillitis. Stir in three teaspoons of fenugreek in one liter of water. Let it simmer for 30 to 35 minutes. Fenugreek will reduce sore throat and pain.

Ginger Tea 

Add one teaspoon of ginger powder to one cup of water and cook for 10 minutes. Drink this daily. Ginger has anti-bacterial properties that prevent the spread of infection. It also reduces the pain.

Green Tea with honey

Boil one teaspoon of green tea leaves in a cup of hot water for 10 minutes. Drink 3 to 4 cups of this tea a day. Green tea contains antioxidants that destroy all harmful germs and gradually reduce tonsillitis.
