Fall in stock market on 4th working day

The fourth working day of the capital market transactions on Wednesday also ended with falls. The index has been declined in both capital markets.
The share and unit prices of most of the companies participating in the transaction remained unchanged.
On Wednesday, the main index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), DSEX fall by 6 points to 3,963 points. Among other indices of DSE, Shariah index decreased by 1 point, DSE-30 index by 2 points and CDSET index by 1 point to 919 points, 1328 points and 785 points respectively.
Shares and units worth Tk 152.63 crore were traded at DSE. Which is 2.71 crore less than the previous day.
Of the 311 companies traded on the DSE, the share price rose of 16 companies or 5 percent. The share price fell of 43 companies, or 14 percent and the share and unit price of 252 companies, or 61 percent remained unchanged.
On the other hand, all the indices of Chattogram Stock Exchange (CSE) have declined. The overall index CASPI fell by 30 points to 11,231 points.
127 companies participated in the transaction at CSE. Of those, the rates of 14 companies have increased, the rates of 32 companies have decreased and the rates of 61 institutions have remained unchanged. Only worth Tk 3.60 crores shares and units were traded at CSE.
