Fakhrul as alt candidate from Khaleda’s seat

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir submitted his nomination papers as an alternative candidate for BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia in Bogra-6 constituency in the upcoming 11th parliamentary elections.

BNP chairperson’s press wing member Shayrul Kabir Khan confirmed the matter.

On Wednesday afternoon, Party Chairperson’s Advisor and Bogura Municipal Mayor Advocate AKM Mahbubur Rahman, District BNP President VP Saiful Islam, General Secretary Joynal Abedin Khan, Ali Azgar Talukder Hena and other leaders of the party were present during the submission of nomination papers for Khaleda Zia to the Returning Officer and Deputy Commissioner Foyez Ahmed.

Later, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir submitted the nomination papers to the returning officer’s office in Bogura. Mirza Fakhrul also picked up the nomination form from as an alternative candidate from Thakurgaon-1 constituency.

Khaleda Zia who convicted in the corruption case, in a risk of being able to elect in the upcoming general elections. The party Secretary General has submitted his nomination papers as an alternative candidate.
