Fair environment existing for CCC polls: CEC 

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda has claimed today that there is existing a fair environment for Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) polls. 

He made the remarks at an exchange of views with officials in charge of CCC elections and law enforcement officials at Chattogram Circuit House on Sunday afternoon.  

CEC Nurul Huda said that now there is a reassuring atmosphere in the election as thousands of people are taking part in the election campaign and the voters are also reassured by the courtesy of the candidates. Everyone has kept the election environment festive.  

Addressing those engaged in important responsibilities of law and order and voting in the elections, the CEC said the security of polling agents at polling stations should be ensured as it will make the election fair. 

Expecting the CCC elections to be free and fair, the CEC said the current environment for elections should be maintained. We have to ensure that all candidates get equal rights and abide by the election code of conduct.
