Factories to remain open amid 7-days lockdown

State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain addressed a a video message on Saturday morning

State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain said the factories will remain open in compliance with shifting duty and hygiene rules during the seven-day lockdown announced by the government due to the increase in the Covid-19 outbreak in the country. 

He said this in a video message on Saturday morning.

The State Minister said the government has decided to hold a seven-day lockdown in a day or two for the public interest due to the rapid increase in COVID outbreak. “The factories will remain open during the lockdown.” 

“These factories will remain open on the condition of complying with the hygiene rules of the workers and various shifts.”

He added that emergency services will remain open during the lockdown.
