Foreign Minister Dr. AK Abdul Momen has received the coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccine.
He received the vaccine at Mohakhali Sheikh Russel Gastroliver Institute and Hospital in the capital on Thursday afternoon.
Earlier on February 8, Health Minister Dr. Zahid Maleque inaugurated the countrywide vaccination campaign at the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) building in Mohakhali. On the same day, several ministers, state ministers, judges and other high-ranking personalities received the vaccine.
It is to be mentioned that the much-awaited vaccination program started in Bangladesh on January 27 by giving Covid-19 vaccine jab to a nurse of Kurmitola General Hospital. On January 28, 541 people were vaccinated in five hospitals in Dhaka in a day.
