FIFA to help affected clubs

The whole world stalled by the deadly coronavirus attack ‍and it also affected all kinds of sports. As a result, football clubs are facing huge financial losses. The clubs are being forced to cut salaries of players and employees. Some clubs have gone bankrupt. FIFA has decided to set up a fund to assist competitions and players which have run into financial difficulty because of the coronavirus pandemic.

In a statement, FIFA spokesperson said: "FIFA is in a strong financial situation and it's our duty to do the utmost to help them in their hour of need. FIFA has taken the process of helping the football community around the world by assessing the financial impact of football on the epidemic."

The FIFA spokesperson added, "We still have a reserve of $ 1.5 billion. This aid will also be reached at the professional, amateur, grassroots level, including six regional confederations and member associations ”.
