Temperature may rise slightly

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Monday predicted that day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country in the next 24 hours as of 9:00 am tomorrow.

Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country during the period, forecasted the Met office in a press release. 

Trough of westerly low lies over West Bengal and adjoining area, said the release adding that seasonal low lies over South Bay. 

The highest temperature was recorded yesterday 34.8 degrees Celsius in Bhola, Patuakhali and Rangamati and today's minimum temperature was 15.4 degrees Celsius at Srimangal in Sylhet division.

The sun sets at 6:11 pm today and rises at 5:57 am tomorrow in the capital.
