Expatriate stabbed to death in Brahmanbaria

An expatriate named Sohag Mia was stabbed to death by a thief while chasing at Nabinagar in Brahmanbaria. The incident took place at Pak Hajipur village in Fatehpur UP of the upazila.

It is learned that when the thief entered the house on Thursday night, Sohag noticed him and chased the thief. At one stage of the fight with the thief, the thief stabbed Sohag and fled away.

Sohag was taken to Nabinagar Health Complex in a critical condition, the doctor referred him to Cumilla. He died Friday morning while undergoing treatment.

Additional SP (Nabinagar Circle) Md Maqbul Hossain said, I have heard that a thief stabbed the expatriate while he was fleeing. We are trying to find out the details. The body has been sent to the district morgue for autopsy.
