England wins toss, bat first against Afghanistan

England won the toss and decided to bat first in their fifth game and 24th match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.
The match was kicked off at 3:30 pm on Tuesday at Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester.
Before heading towards this match, England played four matches and won three of them. They suffered their only loss against Pakistan by 14 runs.
On the other hand, Afghanistan lost all the four matches they have played in the World Cup so far, and they are now at the bottom of the points table.
