International cricket resumed after a break of 117 days due to coronavirus pandemic with the first Test match between England and West Indies. Host England have won the toss and decided to bat first at Rose Bowl Stadium in Southampton.

The first Test between England and West Indies is a truly special occasion as it marks the resumption of international cricket after a break of nearly four months. The last recognized game of international cricket was an ODI between Australia and New Zealand at the Sydney Cricket Ground before the rapid spread of COVID-19 put a pause on all major sporting activities around the world. That match was played behind closed doors as a precaution against the spread of the virus – a measure that is set to remain in place for forthcoming international matches.

The series will be held behind closed doors to avoid coronavirus infection. As a result, spectators will have to wait in front of the TV set to enjoy the game. The match can be enjoyed live on four channels at home. These are Sony ESPN, Sony ESPN HD, Sony Ten One, and Sony Ten One HD.

Those who are out of the house can watch this match online if they want. For this, cricket fans have to tune in to Sony Live and Airtel TV. In addition, if you want to get live updates of the match, you have to keep an eye on FirstPost.com.
