Embassy Cup football tournament on Friday

The Embassy Cup Football Tournament2019 is going to be held on Friday for the second time with 13 ambassadors and a total of 16 teams under the initiative of the Bangladesh Foreign Ministry.
A press conference was held in the press conference room of the Bangladesh Football Federation on Wednesday. The tournament will be held Friday and Saturday at the Armed Police Battalion Headquarters.
The Embassies existing in Bangladesh are gathering with the slogan 'Sports for Peace'. Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan will inaugurate the tournament on Friday. The final game will be held on Saturday with the best two teams among the total 16 teams playing on a knockout basis.
State Minister for Foreign Affairs M Shahriar Alam will be the chief guest at the closing ceremony.
In addition, for the first time, a UN team of officials in Bangladesh is going to participate in the tournament. Foreign and diplomatic police will be as the host.
Foreign Ministry Director Kazi Ziaul Hasan was present at the press conference with Palestinian Second Secretary Nur Aladi and Abu Naeem Sohag, general secretary of Bangladesh Football Federation.
Seven A side tournament teams are Australia, Bhutan, Iraq, South Korea, Maldives, Norway, Pakistan, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Sweden, United States, and Vietnam.
