Election manifesto to be given highest priority

Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam has said that government's election manifesto will be given the highest priority to implementing country's development plan.
He said this while addressing as a chief guest at a workshop at CIRDAP auditorium in the capital on Saturday.
The seminar titled 'Amar Gram-Amar Shahor' was organized to enhance the results of the research conducted by the Rural Development Academy, Bogura.
Khandaker Anwarul Islam said the cabinet department will determine what to do with the concerned ministries and departments on the results presented by the RDA on 'Amar Shahor-Amar Gram'.
Rural Development and Cooperatives Secretary Md. Rezaul Ahsan presided over the workshop. Where Social Welfare Secretary Md. Zainul Bari, planning department secretary Nurul Amin, Postal, and Telecommunications Department Secretary Nur-ur-Rahman spoke as special guest.
Rural Development Academy (RDA), Director General of Bogura (Additional Secretary) Md. Aminul Islam presented the issues to be done in implementing the recommendations found in the study.
Aminul Islam said the present government is dreaming of my 'Amar Gram, Amar Shahor' program to expand the modern facilities in every village of the country. Increasing the urban amenities in the village can be changed if the biography of the rural people and poverty can be eliminated.
Bangladesh can reach the desired middle-income country by achieving the goal of sustainable development through the development of quality of life.
Rural Development and Cooperatives Secretary Rezaul Ahsan said that if 'Amar Gram-Amar Shahor' is implemented, Vision-2021, SDG, Vision-2041, Election Manifesto, Seventh-Five Year Plan and Delta Plan will be implemented for the overall development of the country. Through this, the overall development of Bangladesh will be accelerated.
