Education ministry clarifies on HSC exam schedule

The Ministry of Education has clarified the issue of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination with a gazette notification on Friday, saying that no decision had been taken to postpone the HSC exams. The exams will be taken when the situation will come under favorable.
MA Khayer, Information and Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Education, confirmed the matter.
Since the coronavirus is not being completely eradicated, the Ministry of Education has instructed all concerned to prepare for how public examinations can be conducted to ensure hygiene.
The directive was given at an online meeting chaired by Education Minister Dipu Moni at a meeting of senior officials of the education ministry and heads of various departments and agencies under the ministry.
The ministry also directed to make a proposal on what could be the alternative assessment method in case of HSC examinations and passing the next class in various educational institutions of the secondary level if the coronavirus outbreak in the country is not normal.
