Education Act draft finalized: Dipu Moni

Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni today said the draft of the ‘Education Act 2020’ has been finalized amid the coronavirus pandemic.
She said this at ‘Child Parliament Session 2021’ on Wednesday.
“We have finalized the draft of ’Education Act 2020’ even in the midst of coronavirus pandemic. Now it will go to the cabinet. After completing the process in a few steps, it will be raised in the National Assembly. Once the law is passed in the parliament, the Ministry of Education will implement it,” the Education Minister said.
It is to be mentioned that the government has taken steps to ban all types of notes and guides for students under the Education Act. However, helpful books can be published with the permission of the government.
Besides, teachers of their respective educational institutions cannot provide private coaching to the students. However, there will be no barriers to freelancing coaching. Teachers, students will not be able to go for coaching during their education.
