Edu institutions to reopen after teachers-students get vaccinated

Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam said a decision would be taken to reopen the educational institutions once the teachers and students are being brought under vaccination.
He came up with this information after the cabinet meeting on Monday, chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Other members of the cabinet were also present at the virtual meeting.
The cabinet secretary said the decision would be taken on resuming long-distance buses, trains and launches considering the coronavirus situation in India. We are keeping an eye on India. The number of cases and deaths in India has been declining in the last few days. That is what we are aiming for.
He said he would see if the lockdown increased for another week. During this time we will get a picture of India. Then the final decision will come.
The meeting also passed several acts including Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology in Pirojpur, final approval of the draft of Pirojpur Act, policy approval of Special Security Force Act, 2021 Prime Minister's Office draft, Financial Institutions Bank-Company (Amendment) Act- The draft of 2021 was approved in principle. The draft of Gold Policy-2018 (Revised-2021) of the Ministry of Commerce was also approved.
