EC Secretary for peaceful voting in CCC

Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) election will be held free-fair and peacefully, said the Election Commission (EC) senior secretary Md. Alamgir.
He said all-out preparation has been taken to hold tomorrow's CCC polls in free-fair, competitive, and peacefully.
He said this while talking to reporters at the election building in Agargaon on Tuesday afternoon.
The EC secretary said the responsibility of the Election Commission is to create equal opportunities for all so that voters can come to the polling station and cast their votes without any interferes. Law enforcement forces have been appointed to hold the polls peacefully.
He said that the Election Commission has taken all-out preparation to make the election fair and smooth.
He said more than 10,000 law enforcers were deployed in Chattogram, adding that there would be one executive magistrate in each ward. There will be one Judicial Magistrate for every two wards.
The EC Secretary said that law enforcement personnel have been appointed as demanded by the Returning Officers, the police administration, the district administration.
