Dutch-Bangla service to be closed for 5 days

All types of bank services of Dutch-Bangla Bank will be closed for five day due to system upgradation. All services will be closed from Thursday at 12:01 am for five days. 

This information has been disclosed in an emergency notice by the bank authorities. The message was also given to the customers of the bank via SMS on mobile phones. 

In the notice and SMS, it is said that the system will be closed for all the services, including all branches, ATM booths, POSs and Agent banking activities, from 12:01 am on Thursday (March 14) to Tuesday (March 19) 6:00 am for the system upgrade. 

Dutch-Bangla Bank’s senior executive (Public Relations) Chagir Ahmed said, “Upgrading the bank’s software will be done for the improvement of the customer service. As a result, all the activities of the bank will remain closed for five days.” 

“Already the advertisement has been published in the newspapers and the customers have been informed through the SMS,” he also said. 

“Bank authorities have apologized for the inconvenience of the customers,” added Chagir Ahmed.
