Dry weather with cloudy sky likely over country

The weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country in the next 24 hours ending tomorrow 9:00 am, said Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) in a weather bulletin issued today.
According to the Met Office’s weather bulletin, rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Rangpur, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and the regions of Jashore and Kushtia with hails at isolated places.
Besides, the day temperature likely to fall slightly and the night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country during the period.
The mild heatwave that is sweeping over the Khulna division and the regions of Rajshahi, Pabna, Madaripur, Rangamati, Feni and Moulvibazar may abate from some places.
Meanwhile, a trough of Westerly low has been lying over the West Bengal and adjoining area. One of its associated troughs is being extended up to North Bay. As a result, the seasonal low has lied over South Bay.
The country’s maximum temperature recorded 37.6°C yesterday at Jashore of Khulna Division while today’s minimum temperature recorded 20.0°C at Sylhet district.
Today’s sunset will be at 6:21 pm and Tomorrow’s sunrise will be at 5:35 am.
