Dry weather to continue further likely

The dry weather which has been prevailing in the country for some days will be continued with a temporary partly cloudy sky somewhere over the country for the next 24 hours ending tomorrow at 9:00 am.
The country’s Met Office, Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD), has issued a weather bulletin signed by deputy director Meteorologist Kh. Hafizur Rahman on Monday (October 11).
According to the country’s Met Office, rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly
cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.
“Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country during the period,” it added.
Meanwhile, Meteorologist Kh. Hafizur Rahman said in the weather bulletin that the axis of the monsoon has been running through Bihar, West Bengal to Assam across the central part of Bangladesh. For this, the monsoon is less active over Bangladesh and weak over North Bay.
The country’s maximum temperature was recorded 36.0°C yesterday at Tarash in Rajshahi while today’s minimum temperature was recorded 22.0°C at Tetulia in the Rangpur division.
