Dry weather likely

The weather may remain dry over the country in the next 24 hours ending tomorrow at 9:00 am, said the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) in a weather bulletin issued today.
According to the weather forecast, night temperature may rise slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country during the period.
Besides, light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country from late night to early morning.
Meanwhile, the Met office or BMD’s weather bulletin issued “Burevi”, a cyclonic storm that has been intensifying over Southwest Bay and adjoining area – a week after cyclone ‘Nivar’ hit the Tamil Nadu and adjoining areas in India
“The deep depression over Southeast Bay and adjoining area moved West-northwestwards, intensified into cyclonic storm ‘Burevi’ and was centered at 6:00 am today (2 December 2020) over Southwest Bay and adjoining area. It is likely to intensify further,” the BMD weather bulletin said, adding: “A ridge of sub-continental high extends up to West Bengal and adjoining area.”
The country’s maximum temperature was recorded yesterday at 32.4°C at Cox’s Bazar in the Chattogram division while today’s minimum temperature was recorded at 11.8°C at Tetulia in the Rangpur division.
Today’s sunset will be at 5:11 pm and tomorrow’s sunrise will be at 6:26 am.
