Dry weather likely, having chances of rain at few places

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) predicted on Tuesday that weather may remain mainly dry over the country, having chances of rain at few places in the next 24 hours commencing at 9:00 am today.
"Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and the districts of Kishoregonj, Brahmanbaria and Narsingdi," said a Met Office release issued this morning.
Besides, "Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country," the release added.
Meanwhile, day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The maximum temperature was recorded yesterday at 34.3 degrees Celsius in Gopalgonj under the Dhaka division, while today’s minimum temperature was 13.7 degrees Celsius in Netrokona under the Mymensingh division.
The sun sets at 6:05 pm today and rises at 6:13 am tomorrow in the capital.
