The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has recovered “various business documents” and confiscated them from the resident of e-commerce company Evaly CEO Mohammed Russell and its chairman wife Shamima Nasrin, said RAB media director Khandaker Al Moin, regarding the arrest of Russell and Nasrin.
So far only business documents have been found in his house, Khandaker Al Moin also said, adding that the RAB will hold an official press conference on the matter tomorrow (Friday).
“We conducted the raid in the same way as we conducted the operation at the normal time,” the RAB media director added.
RAB on Thursday afternoon arrested Evaly’s CEO Mohammed Russell and chairman Shamima Nasrin from their Mohammadpur residence in the capital.
Earlier on Wednesday night, an Evaly customer named Arif Baker filed a lawsuit against them and others with the Gulshan police station.
