Apparently angered by the chaos created by the lawyers of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia at the Supreme Court, Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain on Thursday that they should not ruin the court environment sitting in the courtroom.

“We never saw such a situation in the Appellate Division in the past,” he said while hearing a bail petition filed by the BNP chief. Everything has its limit, he said also.

The Chief Justice said this despite the hearing on the submission of Khaleda Zia's medical report and the order of the day for a bail hearing.

The judicial activities at the Appellate Division remained halted for three hours on Thursday morning amid chaos by pro-BNP lawyers demanding that hearing on the bail petition of the BNP chief in Zia Charitable Trust graft case be held on Thursday.

After a regular break, when the judges of the Appellate Division bench returned to the courtroom again at 11 am, the BNP lawyers started shouting again, disrupting the court activities.

Khaleda Zia's latest health condition was not submitted to the Medical Board's report today. The Appellate Division ordered the two reports to be filed by December 11 without any failure. The matter will come to court on December 12. During the hearing, there was chaos occurred between the lawyers of the state and Khaleda Zia. The court ordered that within the chaos.
