SSC-equivalent results published, pass 82.87 pc

SSC and equivalent examination results have been released. A copy of the results of this year's SSC and equivalent examinations was handed over to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganobhaban at 10.30 am on Sunday. Education Minister Dipu Moni highlighted various aspects of the results there. This year the pass rate in the SSC-equivalent examination is more than 82. 87 percent. Of which, the pass rate in SSC examination under nine education boards in the country is 83.75 percent while 82.51 percent in the madrasa education board. Besides, 72.70 percent in SSC Vocational Examination under the Technical Education Board.

This time the pass rate in the Dhaka education is 82.34 percent, in Chattogram board 84.75 percent 9008 got GPA-5, in Rajshahi board pass rate in 90.37 percent and 26,167 students got GPA-5, in Dinajpur board pass rate is 82.73 percent and 12086 students got GPA-5, in Jashore board the pass rate is 87.31 percent while 13,764 students got GPA-5, in Barisal board pass rate is 79.70 percent GPA-5 4,483, in Cumilla board pass the rate is 85.22 percent, GPA-5 10,254, in Sylhet board, the pass rate is 78.79 percent, GPA-5 4,263, in Mymensingh board, the pass rate is 80.13 percent, and GPA-5 7,434.

After the official announcement of the results, the candidates will be able to know the results on the website of their respective educational institutions, the website of the concerned board, and SMS in two ways.

Apart from the orthodox form of SMS, steps have been taken to automatically send results to the student’s home via SMS.

This year's SSC examination was started on 3rd February and ended on 27th February. Practical examinations were held between February 29 and March 5.

1,835,240 students took part in this year's SSC examination under nine general education boards. Of which 843,322 students were female which was 51,404 more than the male students.

On the other hand, 281,254 students took part in the Dakhil examination under the Madrasa Board. Of these, 147,116 students were female; that was 12,978 more than male students.

Besides, 131,285 students have taken part in the SSC Vocational Examination under the Technical Education Board.
