After a seven-hours long train halt due to a North Bengal-bound oil freight train derailment near the Gazipur’s Mouchak railway station, the train movement has been resumed this morning at around 10 am.

Joydebpur railway junction station master Md. Shahjahan Mia said a North Bengal-bound oil tanker, which had left Dhaka at around 1.30 am last night, derailed after reaching the Mouchak area. This damaged about one kilometer of the Dhaka-Rajshahi rail line.
