Dhaka Int’l Folk Fest 19 registration begins

The 5th edition of ‘Dhaka International Folk Fest’ will start from November 14-16, 2019 at Bangladesh Army Stadium. The three-day festival will take place every day from 6:00 pm to 12:00 am.
The Sun Foundation said that the registration process for Folk fest has begun on Wednesday. Registration can be done through the website (www.dhakainternationalfolkfest.com) up to November 10. Online registration will start at 11 am every day.
For registration, passport size photograph, national identity card or driving license or scanned copy of passport, and mail address are needed. After completing the registration, they will send three different entry passes of three days through email.
Entry pass must be shown daily at the entrance of the festival.
More than 200 artistes from 6 countries will perform in Asia’s biggest folk festival.
Renowned artistes Daler Mehndi from India, Junoon and Hina Nasrullah from Pakistan, Sattuma from Russia, Chveneburebi from Georgia, Habib Koite and Bamada from Mali will join the festival.
Notable artists of the country - Shah Alam Sarkar, Fakir Shahabuddin, Chandana Majumdar, Kajol Dewan, Malek Kawal, along with Kamruzzaman Rabbi and Shafikul Islam and dance group Prema and Bhabna Nritya Dol will perform from Bangladesh.
