Detained BSF Members handed over

Detained three members of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) have been sent back to India on Monday noon after a flag meeting in Rajshahi.

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) detained them from Majhardiar border areas of Rajshahi on Sunday night for illegal intrusion into Bangladesh territory.

Char Majhardiar BOP camps Naik Subedar Abu Taher said, detained BSF member are sent back after a flag meeting with the BGB at 1:30 pm on Monday at 56-2/1 Main Pillar area.

BSF`s SI Ramnath Singh, constable Rakesh Kumar and Santosh Kumar entered the Harudanga area of Poba Upazila of the district on Sunday nigth.

BGB battalion commander of Rajshahi-1, Lieutenant Colonel Iftekhar Shamim al-Masud said, Harudanga border pillar has broken. For this reason, three members of the 38 Battalion Border Security Force entered the Bangladesh territory forgetfully.
