Decisions on halls opening within 5-6 days: Cabinet Secy

Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam today said the decisions on opening the university halls will be taken with 5-6 days.

He made the remarks in a briefing after a Cabinet meeting at the Secretariat in the capital on Monday afternoon.

Meanwhile, in response to a query on whether the educational institution will be reopened amid the coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic, the Cabinet Secretary said a decision would be taken soon after an inter-ministerial meeting.

Earlier, a virtual Cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina from Ganabhaban. The ministers from the Cabinet Division attended the meeting via video conference from Secretariat.
